OSM Referee Color Guide: Adjust Your Aggression

The referee color in OSM tells you how strict the match official will be. Adjust your aggression accordingly.

Blue / Green Referee (Very Soft)

• Play HARD. Press high.
• Card risk is LOW.
• Tackle: Aggressive

Yellow Referee (Normal)

• Play NORMAL.
• Don't take unnecessary risks.
• Tackle: Normal

Orange Referee (Strict)

• REDUCE tackling.
• Card risk is HIGH.
• Tackle: Soft

Red Referee (Very Strict)

• Play VERY SOFT.
• Every foul risks a card.
• Tackle: Very Soft
• Even minor fouls can result in red cards!

Pro Tip

Always check the referee color before setting your lineup. A red card can completely change a match. Adjust pressing and tackling based on the color.
